26 years across leading process automation and oil & gas software organisations — spanning software engineering, product architecture, and senior program management. Designed and delivered Terminal Automation Software (TAS) and SCADA platforms across the full stack: device driver development (DanLoad, SmartLoad, AccuLoad, GE-Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA/DA), batch controller integration, weighbridge and card reader interfaces, ERP connectivity (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle), and browser-first SCADA (ISA-18.2 alarms, 5000+ symbol library). International project delivery spanning India, USA, Brazil, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Tanzania, Slovenia, and Nigeria. Technologies: C, C++, C#, .NET, Oracle, SQL Server, Windows services, and browser-based industrial platforms.
23+ Years in Terminal Automation Systems
The depth of TAS expertise at Ath Software Solutions is unmatched in the Indian software market — built across UNIX, Windows, and browser-first architectures, on six continents.
Batch Controllers & Metering
Device driver development and integration for all major batch preset controllers: DanLoad and SmartLoad (Single/Dual Arm), AccuLoad II, III, IV (Single/Dual Arm), Contrec CB 1010A. Flow computer interfaces for OMNI, Daniel, Emerson — with ASTM-D-1250/API 2540 compliant TFMS inventory calculations supporting ASTM tables 54 A/B/C/D, 6 A/B/C/D, and 24 A/B/C.
PLC & DCS Communication
Fully functional device drivers for GE-Fanuc (SRTP Protocol), Allen-Bradley (DF1 Protocol), Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet/IP, and OPC UA/DA. Integration with Rockwell and Honeywell DCS for BCU-through-DCS TAS architectures. Integration with CCTV, biometric systems, card readers (Sentry, NexWatch), and weighbridges (Rice Lake, Mettler Toledo).
TAS Workflow Management
Complete terminal operations workflow: Planning/S&D, vehicle reporting, bay queuing and assignment, access control (entry/exit gates), normal and interrupted loading handling, sealing activities, BOL printing, safety sub-system management, ERP posting (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle), and biometric authentication.
Specialty Capabilities
Rail wagon loading (BTPN, conventional, configurable section/spur) — first software in India for rail wagon loading with national oil company SAP interface. Tank truck unloading. Product movement through pipeline with Handover-Takeover (HOTO) via PLC interface. Tank Farm Inventory Management System (TFMS) per ASTM/API 2540 standards.
SCADA Platform Development
Designed and developed Generic SCADA with Device Tags and Expression Tags from scratch — completely generic, browser-first architecture. ISA 18.2 alarm management, database and historian logging, 5000+ symbol library, high-performance HMI, industry-agnostic deployment. Deployed across water treatment, tyre manufacturing, and gas metering industries.
International Project Delivery
TAS projects delivered across India and internationally — petroleum and chemical companies in India, Brazil, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Slovenia, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Software engineering, commissioning, and support across diverse regulatory environments and operational cultures spanning three continents.
